Dog Mascot Costumes

A dog is loyal, playful and loved by every age group, which is why dog mascot costumes work so well for businesses. Pet stores and veterinary clinics use them at openings and adoption days, pet-food brands at sampling and trade shows, and party agencies at children’s birthdays. Bulldogs, huskies and similar breeds are also popular team mascots for schools and sports clubs.

This section includes recognizable breeds — poodles in white and brown, huskies, a bulldog, a pug, a corgi, a Dalmatian and a big mountain dog — as well as puppy characters dressed for a role, from a dog in a suit to a yoga dog and a Christmas dog for the winter season. Our dog mascot costumes are covered in faux fur. Each head is built on a shaped foam frame; depending on the model, the performer looks out through the eyes, the mouth or the neck — check the product card before you order if visibility matters for your event. A padded vest under the jumpsuit keeps the silhouette full, and the shoes are built on polyurethane soles for walking on any floor.

Faux fur is warm, and pet events are often held outdoors. Some dog models have extra ventilation openings; for summer, ask us about a fan in the head or a cooling vest, and plan short breaks for the performer every half hour or so.

Pet events can be dusty and busy. After each day, air-dry the costume away from heat, brush the fur, wipe the soles of the shoes and store everything in the cover bag. Keep the head on a stand so ears and muzzle keep their shape, and wash only the parts the care instructions allow.
