Sea Animal Mascot Costumes

Sea animals are made for places by the water and for brands connected with the sea. Water parks and aquariums use sharks and dolphins at entrances and in shows, swimming schools and pools love friendly fish, and seafood restaurants, fish shops and fish brands work with crabs, shrimps and fish characters at openings, tastings and trade shows. A shark is also a popular mascot for swimming and water-sports teams.

You will find classic sharks and dolphins, a whale, red crabs with big claws, a stingray, a pink starfish, a shrimp and several fish — some of them dressed for a role, like a fish footballer or a fish cook. When clothes or accessories are part of the set, the product card lists them.

Sea creatures often have unusual shapes: a body-shaped costume on a foam frame, wide fins or a long snout. On many models the performer looks out through the mouth, on others through the eyes or the neck — the product card always says which. Large shapes look great on stage and in photos, but check the width if the character will move through narrow corridors or crowds.

Most sea animals work in summer, so plan for heat. Some models have extra ventilation openings; ask us about a fan in the head or a cooling vest, keep water nearby and give the performer short breaks. Our costumes are not designed for swimming — keep them out of the water and the rain.

After a day in the sun or near water, dry the costume thoroughly at room temperature before packing it — never pack a damp costume. Wipe the foam shapes with a dry cloth, brush faux fur parts and store the character in its cover bag on a shelf where large fins and tails are not crushed.
