Wild animal mascot costumes: how to choose

The biggest section of the catalog

Wild animals are the largest group of characters we make. Here you will find forest animals — foxes, wolves, raccoons, hedgehogs, squirrels and deer; savanna and jungle animals — lions, tigers, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, monkeys and gorillas; farm animals such as horses, cows and pigs; and smaller characters like mice, snakes, turtles and lizards. Use the chips above the grid to narrow the list to one animal.

Where wild animals work

Zoos, safari parks and nature reserves use animal mascots on family days and educational tours. Lions, tigers, wolves and leopards are classic school and team mascots, while farm animals suit agricultural fairs, dairy and meat brands and farm shops. For children’s parties, a fox, an elephant or a giraffe is always a hit.

Faux fur, heads and visibility

All costumes in this section are covered in faux fur. Heads are built on shaped foam frames; on most models the performer looks through mesh eyes, on others through the mouth, the nose or the neck — the product card always says which. Large heads, such as an elephant or a giraffe, look impressive but are wider, so check the viewing area if the character will walk through crowds.

Ventilation and cooling

Many wild animal models have extra ventilation openings, which the product card lists. For long outdoor events, hot climates and summer parks, ask us about a fan in the head or a cooling vest worn under the suit, and plan regular breaks for the performer.

Care and storage

Air-dry the head and jumpsuit after every event, away from heaters and direct sun, and brush the fur in the direction of the pile. Big heads such as elephants or giraffes should be stored on a stand or a shelf, not under other things. Keep the costume in its cover bag and follow the care instructions for washing.

Team colors and your own animal

Most animals can be made in a different faux fur color, with a jersey, T-shirt or jacket in your team or brand colors, and with your logo on the outfit. If you need an animal from your crest or logo, we design it from scratch and you approve a sketch before production.

Wild animal mascot costume questions

Are your wild animal mascot costumes made for adults?
Yes. All our wild animal mascot costumes are made for adult performers. Tell us the performer’s height before production, and we will adjust the costume if needed.
Do you make lion, tiger and wolf mascots for school and sports teams?
Yes. Lions, tigers, leopards and wolves are in this section, and most can be made with a jersey in your team colors and your number or logo. For an animal drawn from your crest, see sports team mascots.
Can I order a farm animal like a cow or a pig?
Yes — horses, cows, pigs and other farm animals are part of this section. Use the search or the chips to find them, or describe the animal and we will suggest the closest model.
How quickly can I get a wild animal mascot costume?
Models marked “In stock” ship first; other models are made to order, and we confirm the production time before you order. EMS transit from our recent shipments is about 12 days to France, 13 to the UAE and 18 to the USA; for other countries we calculate the time and cost for your address.
