Cow from the Cheese Museum Mascot Costume

Black-and-white patches, a round pink snout and long-lashed eyes with a sly smile make this cow easy to spot, and she wears farm snacks as decorations: a yellow cheese wedge sits on one horn and a curved brown treat on the other. Black mitten hooves and hoof shoes match the ears, and a tasseled tail hangs behind.

The cow mascot costume includes the fleece-covered foam head with fabric eyes, a fleece jumpsuit, a padded vest, gloves and fabric-covered foam shoes on polyurethane soles. The performer sees through the nose. Made to order for cheese shops, dairy brands, farm festivals and food fairs.

After every event, let the head and the jumpsuit air-dry away from heaters and direct sun.

Brush the faux fur gently to keep it fluffy; don’t put the head in a washing machine.

Store the costume in its cover bag in a dry place, with the head on a stand or filled with paper so it keeps its shape.
