Halloween mascots: planning guide
Spooky for kids, scary for adults
Decide first who your audience is. Family events need friendly faces: a smiling pumpkin, a cheerful witch, a bat or a black cat. Evening events and haunted attractions can use vampires, a skeleton or a three-headed dog. Mixing one friendly and one darker character lets you run both parts of a program.
Mascots, party hosts and stilt walkers
Mascot costumes hide the performer completely and look the same in every photo. Party host costumes — a witch, a vampire or a pumpkin outfit — leave the face open for makeup and storytelling, and costumes for stilt walkers make a parade visible from far away.
Plan in summer
Halloween falls on the same date every year, and most Halloween characters are made to order. Plan your characters in summer so production and delivery fit comfortably: EMS takes about 12 days to France, 13 to the UAE or 18 to the USA; for other countries we calculate the time for your address.
Made-to-order production takes 7–14 days.
Light, crowds and safety
Autumn events are often outdoors and in the evening. Check that the performer has a clear view in low light, give them a helper in crowds and plan short breaks. Keep makeup, fake blood and confetti away from the costume.
Use it every year
A good Halloween character comes back every season. After October, clean it according to the care instructions, let it dry and store it in its cover bag until next year.

Are the characters suitable for children?
